Christina Broom (December 28th, 1862 - June 5th, 1939) was a Scottish photographer credited with the title, “the UK’s first female press photographer”. After the failure of a business, Christina borrowed a box camera and taught herself the in’s and out’s of photography. After this she eventually set up a booth at the Buckingham Palace and sold postcards of the photos she took. Christina Broom is an inspiration to me because she is a pioneering women in the world of photography.
All work courteous of Christina Broom.
